These badass women know how to bring on the pain in the action films they appear in.  In some of the most unfathomable situations, these women show us how to kick, punch, blow up, and shoot their way out of the scene.  And you’re left with “Woaaah! Wowww! Wew!”

Although Weaver rose to fame in her lead role in this movie series, she is also known for her starring roles in Ghostbusters, Avatar and more which eventually earned her the title as “the Sci-fi Queen.”

Also known with the codename Black Mamba, Beatrix’s mastery in swords, knife fighting, and hand-to-hand combat makes her damn deadly. Director Quentin Tarantino said that he intentionally developed the character into someone people would be afraid of. “As far as the first half is concerned, I didn’t want to make her sympathetic. I wanted to make her scary.”

The actress who plays the role may not be dangerous in reality but she slays at so many things. Uma Thurman has been a consistent placer as one of the 100 sexiest women in the 1990s. She’s also known for her stellar fashion sense, even boosting Prada’s name into prominence. Thurman was also awarded with Ordre des Arts et des Lettres of France for outstanding achievement in the field of art and literature as well as her work as an actress.

4. Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia in Star Wars

Honestly, she’s one of the most effective heroes in the series. She was able to successfully keep Death Star plans from Darth Vader, killed Jabba the Hutt, and founded and headed the Resistance against the First Order.

Do you know what made Fisher a cool badass? It’s when she filmed the scene killing Jabba without a double. She shared, “I had a lot of fun killing Jabba the Hutt. They asked me on the day if I wanted to have a stunt double kill Jabba. No! That’s the best time I ever had as an actor. And the only reason to go into acting is if you can kill a giant monster.

When she was still alive, she wasn’t just an actress and humorist. She was also a writer with several published semi-autobiographical novels. She was also listed as one of the most influential people in world in 2013, 2014, and 2016. Aside from being a versatile actress, Lawrence is also known as an advocate for feminism and gender equality. She also supports various charitable organization through the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation.

In real life, Gal Gadot is also a wonder woman. She was crowned Miss Israel 2014 when she was 18 years old. She entered the Israel Defense Forces and served for two years. Now, she’s a wonder wife and a wonder mama to two kids.
