Angelina Jolie Finally Speaks About Her Split from Brad


Angeline Jolie BBC NewsAngelina Jolie has finally opened up about the difficulties she’s been through after her break-up with Brad Pitt and how it affected their six children. During her film promotion in Cambodia, Angelina was interviewed by BBC news.

During the interview, Angelina was visibly emotional saying: “I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family, and we will always be a family.”

BBC News Exclusive with Angelina JolieAngelina filed for divorce last September 2016 and sought custody over their children. Just last January, the couple finally agreed to seal the custody documents as well as their divorce settlement to resolve their issues.

When asked how she is coping, the 41-year old actress emphasized again how she draws strength from her family. “My focus is my children, our children. We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.”

Angelina Jolie Premiere First They Killed My FatherAngelina and her kids were in Cambodia last Saturday for the premiere of her movie, “First They Killed My Father.” The movie is about a young child living in Cambodia under Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge.

Angelina closes the interview with such hope after she’s asked where she sees herself five years from now. “I would like to be traveling around the world visiting my children, hoping that they’re just happy and doing really interesting things and I imagine in many different parts of the world and I’ll be supporting them.”
