Are you missing the man with famous claws and sideburns? No need to miss him for long, because Wolverine is coming back for the last time with its third installment. Actor Hugh Jackman has confirmed filming is complete and their director Jim Mangold has now started editing the movie.
“We’ve finished shooting. I just saw Jim Mangold today. He’s editing away and finishing that,” Jackman revealed.
“There’s going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so…. Basically, it’s going to be very different. Very different in tone and hopefully different to anything we’ve done,” he added.
Set to be released on March 3, 2017, the movie will also star Richard E Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Elise Neal.
Wolverine 3 is long rumored to be the last hurrah of Jackman as an immortal mutant. Having played the role of Logan for 17 years, we think it’s just right to give Jackman a great ending that he deserves.
While he did not reveal anything about the movie, we’re expecting a story far from the X-Men series but closer to the Old Man Logan comic series.
And here are a few photos to give you some hints:
Here’s Hugh Jackman sporting an old man look in graying beard!
Could that young girl be X-23? She looks a little younger than what’s written in the comics.
