Just days after Kanye West launched his newest fashion collection, he declared via a series of Twitter posts that he is $53 million in debt.
The claim was made right before his appearance on the U.S TV show Saturday Night Live which is also the same day that his album “The Life of Pablo” was released.
In his Twitter, he wrote:
“I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart.”
“I just officially signed up to TIDAL. Everyone Go get #TheLifeOfPablo,” Kardashian posted.
This is not the first time that West discussed his money issues publicly. In fact, last year he admitted that he was $16 million in debt, as he was trying to get his Yeezy clothing line established.
“I was trying to play a sport that’s a billionaire sport. It’s not a millionaire sport and I’m proud of the debt. I don’t care about somebody’s… house. I care about my vision,” he disclosed with Black Entertainment Television [BET].
But West’s controversial comments on social media did not stop there. He also defended Caitlyn Jenner earlier on Saturday after she received criticisms for sporting an outfit designed by West.
West uploaded a photo of them and wrote, “”I’m proud of this picture with me and Caitlyn… She gave the most heartfelt speech at my wedding …”
